Jaline Gerardin

Senior Research Manager
Jaline Gerardin is the malaria team lead at IDM. Her work has focused on the role of drug-based strategies in malaria control and elimination, understanding the infectious reservoir, characterizing spatial and demographic heterogeneity in transmission, and developing stratification schemes to guide elimination strategies in southern Africa. Jaline has a PhD in Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard University. During her PhD, Jaline was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, and her thesis described how cells use signaling circuits to distinguish between long and short stimuli.
