Brittany Hagedorn is a financial analyst for the Institute for Disease Modeling, collaborating with others on the modeling team to assess the costs of immunizations and disease control and the trade-offs between different approaches. Brittany has used a range of modeling techniques including Monte Carlo and Discrete Event Simulation, as well as analytical models for both operational and financial modeling. Prior to joining IDM, Brittany has worked with North American healthcare delivery systems to optimize their workflow processes, improve patient safety and clinical quality, and right-size capacity plans. She has also advised small technology companies on product design and development and helped them to reach their target user base via thought leadership and value-added content. Brittany is an ASQ-certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds both a B.S. in Systems Engineering and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis.
